Cannabis Q & A

What is medical cannabis?

Medical cannabis refers to the medicinal use of the cannabis plant for the treatment of various health conditions. The cannabis plant contains chemicals known as cannabinoids, including Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

Though research is ongoing, the cannabinoids in the cannabis plant interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). Your ECS is a complex cell-signaling system that regulates sleep, mood, appetite, and memory.
